Been a while
It has been a while since my last post, but I have been busy, and here are some updates to show I’m still around.
I regularly visit a photography forum called ‘Lightstalkers,’ it is a website for photographers by photographers and there are sometimes some interesting discussions. I’ve highlighted a few:
- Recommended Boots, which do you wear?
- Leica M8- field test. – On a personal note, I would love a full frame digital rangefinder, not necessarily from Leica though, just something smaller than the gear I use at the moment.
- Least expensive photo website?
Here is also a link to a Danish photography competition where the photographer was disqualified for manipulating his entry. Could be the start of an interesting debate about digital manipulation and what a raw file is supposed to represent. To me it looks like all he did was over saturate the colours, and try to get everything exposed properly, to me normal techniques from the darkroom.
