Photojournalism Articles
Here is an ever growing of news articles which I’ve come across and have interested me concerning anything related to Journalism. I’ll try to place them in Alphabetical order as the list grows.
New York Times
It was all started by a Mouse (Part 1) by Errol Morris – Errol Morris talks with Ben Curtis about one of his famous photos and touches on the idea of truth within Photojournalism.
Photography as a Weapon by Errol Morris - Errol Morris in discusion with Hany Farid & Charles Johnson about implications and the power behind faking images; one them being fake images can stay in the mind of a viewer, even if they have been categorically told an image is fake.
TheAtlantic.com
Cut This Story! by Michael Kinsley – Discusses and provides examples about how newspaper articles are too long and argues they should be shortened. Not in the sense to dumb down the piece being written, but to use less unnecessary language. Making that point that these particular writing styles are becoming dated in the Internet Age.
