Free Running: 2nd October
A small Jam was organised today, quite a few Free Runners were down. Images can be found here.
Over the coming weeks, I’m going to be building an Encyclopaedia of the various tricks that can be performed by those in Swansea.
Free Running: 25th September
Tammi, the only female Free Runner I know was in town yesterday. In fact individuals from three Free Running groups were practising yesterday. While Tammi was taking a break eating, she mentioned something called the ‘Fuck it button’. Interested by this I asked what she meant.
“It’s the button you press where you say fuck it and just go do it”. It, being the trick she wanted to perform, but hadn’t developed the confidence for outside the gym even though she would be landing on the grass which is relatively soft.
Images from the day are here.
Free Running @ Swansea Bae Fest 2010
A small and free festival held in Swansea every year. This is a chance for various Free Running groups from around South Wales, showcasing their skills, putting on a few shows for the general public (link).
Car Enthusiasm: 3rd September
For the first time during this project, I photographed during the day. Taking a more personal approach. This is the first of what are a few photo shoots that are coming that will hopefully add more depth to the project. Bobby London is pictured polishing (link) his Audi Convertible.
Car Enthusiasm: 2nd September
James rolled up yesterday in his new Audi TTS. A new motor is guaranteed to be the a topic of conversation for the next few meet ups while everybody is introduced to it.

Car Enthusiasm: 18th August
A small update from the project last week.
Free Running: 14th August
In an alleyway on the side of Idolz was the venue yesterday for Freerunning (gallery link). It’s a new location for practising on until Urban Precision are moved on by those who deem them a nuisance. Within minutes, the Police arrived in a Panda car, they politely asked what Urban Precision were doing. Their questions were more out of curiosity as opposed to somebody having called them out, to confront whoever was climbing the side of their building. After conversing, the Police didn’t move Urban Precision on and they continued their climbing and jumping.
